Ordering & Production

What is your standard turnaround time?

Thanks to our in-house mold making center, we offer a rapid 3-day turnaround for physical sampling. For standard mass production (up to 500,000 units), our lead time is typically 5 to 7 days after sample and artwork approval. For highly complex luxury finishes, please allow an additional 2-3 days.

Do you have a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

We are highly flexible. Because we operate both HP Indigo Digital presses (for short runs) and Heidelberg/Flexo presses (for massive scale), we don’t enforce a strict MOQ. However, please note that order quantities below 1,000 units may incur higher per-unit setup costs due to the fixed costs of machine calibration and mold creation.

How do I request a custom quote?

To provide an accurate quote within 24 hours, please provide the following details: 1) Dimensions and shape, 2) Preferred material (if known), 3) Specific luxury finishes required (e.g., hot foil, embossing), 4) Estimated order quantity, and 5) The usage scenario (e.g., will it be refrigerated or exposed to oil?).

Do you offer structural design or artwork services?

While we prefer clients to provide print-ready artwork (.AI or .PDF formats), our 17-person R&D and Pre-press engineering team is fully equipped to assist. We can help adjust your designs for printability, provide dielines (templates), and offer structural engineering advice for complex box folding mechanisms.

Quality & Finishes

How do you ensure color consistency across a 100,000+ unit batch?

Color variation is a common industry pain point, but not here. We utilize advanced spectrophotometers for precise Pantone color matching. More importantly, our production lines are monitored by 7 AVT full-auto visual inspection machines. This AI-driven technology catches microscopic color shifts or defects that the human eye would miss, guaranteeing absolute batch-to-batch consistency.

I'm not sure which material or adhesive to choose. Can you help?

Absolutely. This is where our Diagnostic Approach comes in. You don’t need to be a material expert. Tell us your product’s lifecycle—will it sit in a humid bathroom? Will it face freezer condensation? Does the label need to resist essential oils or alcohol? Our engineers will prescribe the exact substrate, ink, and adhesive combination guaranteed to perform flawlessly.

Can you combine multiple luxury finishes on a single label/box?

Yes. Our facility is engineered for deep processing. We frequently combine techniques like Hot Foil Stamping, 3D Embossing, and Spot UV on a single piece to create highly complex, counterfeit-proof textures. Because we handle both printing and finishing in-house, alignment and registration are perfect.

Agency & Shipping

Do you offer Blind Shipping (White-Label Delivery) for design agencies?

Yes, strictly and securely. Nearly 40% of our business comes from global design agencies and print brokers. When you request Blind Shipping, the goods are packed in neutral, unbranded export cartons. Shipping documents will show your agency as the sender. There will be absolutely zero Meikei branding, logos, or contact information, protecting your client relationships completely.

What are your international shipping terms?

We ship globally, with deep experience handling logistics to North America, Europe, and Australia. We offer flexible Incoterms based on your needs: EXW (Ex Works), FOB (Free on Board), CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight), and DDP (Delivered Duty Paid – Door to Door).

How is the packaging protected during international transit?

We use 5-layer export-grade corrugated cartons to prevent crushing. Inside, products are sealed in moisture-proof poly bags. For sensitive finishes (like soft-touch or high-gloss items), we insert protective tissue or foam layers between pieces to prevent scratching during ocean or air freight vibrations.

What eco-friendly material options do you provide?

We offer a comprehensive sustainable library. This includes FSC-certified papers (ensuring responsible forestry), 100% post-consumer recycled papers, Kraft paper, and PLA (Polylactic Acid) biodegradable films. We also strictly utilize low-VOC, soy-based and water-based inks.

What factory certifications does Meikei hold?

We are fully certified to meet Western compliance standards. Our facility operates under ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety). Additionally, our materials comply with SGS and MSDS safety standards.

Are your raw materials ethically sourced?

Yes. We partner with global industry leaders like Avery Dennison and PUM to ensure our supply chain is transparent, ethical, and yields the highest quality raw substrates available on the market.

After-Sales & IP Protection

What is your remake/refund policy if there is an issue?

We operate on a Zero Defect philosophy, backed by a 1-Month Remake Guarantee. If the delivered mass production deviates from the physical sample you approved, or if you encounter a clear manufacturing defect (such as ink smudging or adhesive failure under prescribed conditions), we will remake the defective batch free of charge.

How do you protect my Intellectual Property (IP) and designs?

Your brand assets are safe in our vault. We readily sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) before you share any files. Your designs will never be shown to other clients, displayed on our website, or used as public samples without your explicit written permission.

Do you keep our custom molds and plates for future orders?

Yes. To make repeat business cost-effective, we securely store your custom plates for 12 months, completely waiving setup fees for subsequent runs within this period.
